In traditional Swahili fashion, the house is built around a central courtyard where people gather. Guests can take a dip in the plunge pool, pull up a seat at the bar or relax in a lounger. For those who wish to venture out, white sand Bofa Beach is a stone’s throw away via its private beach access. Beach Side Villa was created to let families and small groups of friends bask in each other’s company and the natural abundant beauty of Kenya’s coastline.
Beach Side Villa has plenty of places and spaces where people can gather or retreat. The home’s amenities include a plunge pool and landscaped courtyard with loungers, an open-aired living room, beach front and rooftop terraces, an office and a snug. A full American-style kitchen dedicated to guests compliments the chef’s working space, enabling people to help themselves to snacks and drinks outside of meal times.
The inviting dining room and table is set to encourage group conversations. A family-style approach to dining enables groups and families to eat together with ease, or let people come and go as they please. The crowd favourite is always tea time, when Kenya’s world famous tea and coffee is served along with homemade cake, cookies and scones.
Kilifi Beach Villas is located near the bustling sea-side town of Kilifi and a myriad of water sports activities are available within the area. Day trips to UNESCO-designated sites and national parks are also easily arranged. Guests decide how much – or how little – they want take on in a day!
Beach Side Villa can be rented on its own for a perfect break at the coast, or rented together with neighbouring Ocean View Villa to accommodate up to 30 guests in carefree style and comfort.
